Notes: This darkish Columbia drama had a most unusual suburban release pattern – initially used as support for Francis in its opening Hoyts Victory stanza, (along with four Union houses where it took the top of the bill) it then transferred over to Union to complete its run. Never on more than five screens on any given week (for a lowly 34 bookings in total) and split between full weeks and Saturdays it only just cracked the top 100. Glen Ford was not quite the huge star he would become in a couple of years time.
