Notes: Cary Grant’s attempt at heavy drama was a noted money loser for MGM, but Union theatres certainly gave it the opportunity to be seen, with 49 engagements including 31 weeks. That paved the way for 361 EF points and a 30th placing for the year. Please Believe Me was its full time support except for a 38th week pick up by the South Melbourne Empire, when Mule Train carried out that duty.
