Notes: The sleeper hit of the year. If remembered at all it is due to being the film that introduced Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis to the big screen (in support roles). Yet, with no major stars and a relatively simple premise – and far from impressive production values – it did exceptionally well. 31st overall in EF points, 7th in EF PPE and 4th most weeks. And, oddly for an Independent chain release it was all done by week 7. Inside Story held the lower bill for around a third of engagements.
