NOTES: This novelty item (with an all-bird cast) definitely catered for the niche audience during its run at the Savoy. Appealing to the suburbs was always going to be difficult, especially after school holidays had finished, which accounts for its mere seven suburban observations.However, it is likely that Bill and Coo did find some favour as a Saturday matinee item, where it would have best been appreciated. Metrics-wise it did rank third as the most travelled on a per-engagement basis.
