Notes: In one of the more bizarre instances of distribution, GBDFD (via Hoyts) released both this film and The Huggetts Abroad (this follow-up feature) on the SAME day in Melbourne’s CBD, both as supports. Then, when it came time for suburban roll-out, the later film arrived first by two months! In any case, Vote for Huggett was lucky enough to ride along with Maytime in Mayfair and thus gained a few weeks and a number of Saturdays but still ended up with a pretty feeble 81 EF points and a pitiful 1.76 PPE.
