Notes: MGM drama supported Intruder in the Dust in their city outing and it appeared that it would perform the same role in the suburbs. However soon it was topping the bill with the more controversial film take the subordinate place. Fewer weeks than the usual MGM film kept its EF ranking to a lower position on the table, but it only just missed out on scraping into the top 100 .
