Notes: This troubled MGM production was derided by critics and ignored by domestic audiences spilling a lot of red ink for the studio. 213 EF points is a reasonable return within this evaluation, however, considering the exposure providing by the Union chain it was obvious that it wanted this film’s run over and done with as quickly as possible. A mere 11 weeks when such a prestigious product could expect double the number. Only five Suburban chain theatres took the bait and the entire experience was done after seven weeks. No regular support act was preferred.
